CSA response to CQC State of Care report 2018

CSA response to government £240m social care boost

Yesterday, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, announced that the government will inject an emergency £240m into the social care system.

In his speech at Conservative party conference, he announced that the funds are intended to ease pressure on the NHS by allowing elderly people to be cared for at home, rather than in hospital.
